Chess Set Update 001: Kings Rough Sketch
Alright! The first side project I am going to do will be a sculpted chess set. I plan to create the pieces with sculpy on top of a 3” DIA dowel base. Hopefully with the finished plans these pieces can easily be scaled down.
I decided to just jump in and start the project with some quick sketches of what the kings will look like. I like the start of these designs… but they will be tweaked and painted over before I start sculpting. I am looking forward to creating the color palette for this guys.
